Building a Stronger IT Ecosystem

RoglIT is not just another conference. It is a platform where ideas, companies, and people shaping the future of the IT world meet. Our specialty is connecting—not only with partners but also with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Connectivity is in our DNA, as we are organized in such a way that we can take on the most responsible projects. Every year we grow stronger, as RoglIT is held under the umbrella of the Actual I.T. group, which gives it even greater breadth and power.

With our global presence, we provide partners with access to top-tier solutions tailored to their specific needs. Our commitment to innovation and a comprehensive approach gives our partners a competitive edge, ensuring optimal business operations. RoglIT will offer an inspiring exchange of success stories and innovative projects without boundaries. We are committed to building a stronger IT ecosystem, so we will share experiences and solutions ranging from Slovenia to the broader international arena.

ACTUAL I.T. GROUP BRINGS TOGETHER INNOVATIVE SPECIALIZED COMPANIES IN THE FIELD OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, OPERATING BOTH IN THE DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS.

The business-educational event RoglIT 25 opens the ICT event season in Slovenia. With over 20 years of tradition, the conference unites IT professionals and other enthusiasts in this field. The name originates from the first events organized at resort Rogla, but due to its scope, it has moved to various locations across Slovenia. In 2025, it will be hosted by Thermana in Laško.

The event provides an opportunity to co-create the future of the IT ecosystem through concrete examples of best practices and in-depth professional discussions.

At the conference, companies from the ACTUAL I.T. group, which includes ACTUAL I.T., ITELIS, UNISTAR, and ASTEC, will present current trends and new technologies in the IT field to existing and potential partners. Under the slogan Building a Stronger IT Ecosystem, we will present the group’s internationally oriented strategy and discuss topics such as AI-powered custom software solutions, SAP resource management solutions, cloud computing, consulting services, and cybersecurity and compliance.

We expect more than 200 participants from various sectors, including public and government administration, critical infrastructure, business, academia, and students.

ACTUAL I.T. Group remains an engineering and service IT group that is active not only in Slovenia but also in international markets. Optimal Business – The Vision of Our Group represents solutions that provide our partners with tailored business tools, simplifying operations and focusing on core activities.

The opening of the conference with Key note speech we will host Dr. Dan Podjed, a renowned anthropologist and researcher who has studied human behavior in contemporary society and the impact of technology on our daily lives for many years. In his inspiring motivational speech titled "As Technology Develops, Look People in the Eye", he will highlight the pitfalls of technology for individuals and society. His perspective will offer participants a fresh viewpoint for thinking and acting in the dynamic IT world.

Following the opening speech, attention will shift to a roundtable discussion, where experts and representatives from various sectors will discuss the key challenges and opportunities of the modern IT ecosystem. Building partnerships, exchanging knowledge, and creating alliances will be the central themes, explored through practical experiences and achieving ambitious goals for the future. Participants will share their views on forming partnerships, (co)working, and creating alliances to achieve more ambitious goals. The discussion will also address the important role of trust and long-term relationships in partnerships, which are the foundation for the successful realization of projects.

Some key discussion points:

  • Is specialization the key to successfully implementing projects?
  • Does the connection of specialized knowledge lead to better project outcomes?
  • How does the economy collaborate with academia to integrate new talent into the workforce?
  • Where can we find financing sources for larger, developmental projects?

The roundtable will include representatives from the business sector, academia, and companies that specialize in obtaining alternative financing sources for launching, developing, and implementing projects. Speakers include Ms. Sabina Sobočan, Director of Varis Lendava, Dr. Denis Čaleta, President of the Institute for Corporate Security Studies, Dr. Borut del Fabbro, Partner at ReplikaPRO, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Blaž Markelj, Head of the Department of Information Security at the Faculty of Security Studies. The moderator will be Msc. Katja Kraškovic, Director and Dean of GEA College – Faculty of Entrepreneurship and member of the Women4Cyber Board. The discussion will certainly offer valuable insights and guidance for all participants wishing to actively co-create the future of technology in the alliance for a stronger IT ecosystem.

Subsequent parallel sessions and workshops will focus on the effectiveness of IT investments, outsourcing IT services, the implementation of modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, and other technical topics. We will also explore the impact of artificial intelligence on optimizing business processes and present new approaches to integrating various IT services into existing environments.

We will particularly highlight stories from our partners who have successfully implemented advanced solutions through collaboration with the ACTUAL I.T. group and other partners. These presentations will offer insights into real-world examples where technologies have enabled the achievement of concrete business goals, increased competitiveness, and improved efficiency. In short, optimal business operations.

Special attention will be given to future professionals, students, who are facing the transition from academia to the real sector. We will involve them in introductory lectures and workshops, treating them the same as all our partners. We will present them with student challenges, employment opportunities, and additional content to ease their transition into the entrepreneurial world. Young participants will have the chance to understand the challenges of the real business world, meet our partners, and gain insight into specific projects taking place in the ACTUAL I.T. group.

Conference participants will thus have a unique opportunity to gain different perspectives on digitalization solutions, network with partners, experts from various fields, students, and creators of our shared future. Therefore, join the alliance for the Stronger IT ecosystem.
